Your emotions arise from your nervous system state — not the other way around. You do not feel anxious and then become dysregulated. You are dysregulated, and anxiety is how that registers in your awareness.

For over a decade I worked as an integrative therapist, sitting with people who were trying very hard to change. They understood their patterns. They could name their triggers. They had read the books and done the courses. And still, they found themselves back in the same loops.
